The AI tool stack for a three-person Hong Kong clinic, priced in HKD

A three-person Hong Kong clinic can market itself for about HK$158 a month: Google AI Plus at HK$38 and Canva Pro at HK$88 to HK$120, on top of four free tools. ChatGPT Plus and Claude Pro cannot be bought here at all — Hong Kong is on neither OpenAI's nor Anthropic's supported territory list. Prices read on 5 September 2026.

You have three people, no marketing staff, and a list of AI tools somebody sent you. Here is the list a Hong Kong clinic can actually buy, priced in Hong Kong dollars.

Four of these tools cost nothing. Two cost HK$158 a month between them. And two of the best-known names, ChatGPT Plus and Claude Pro, are not sold to Hong Kong at all, so the first decision on this page is to stop trying to buy them.

Every price here was read from the Hong Kong App Store on 5 September 2026. App Store prices change without notice, so open the listing on your own phone before you commit to a year.

Start here: two of these tools are not on sale in Hong Kong

This is the part an imported tool list never checks, and it changes what you buy.

OpenAI publishes a list of supported countries and territories, and Hong Kong is not on it. The same page states that "accessing or offering access to our services outside of the countries and territories listed below may result in your account being blocked or suspended". Anthropic publishes the same kind of list for Claude, and Hong Kong is not on that one either. Both pages were read on 5 September 2026, and both are linked in the sources at the end.

So there is no supported way for a clinic here to subscribe to ChatGPT Plus or Claude Pro, and we do not recommend the workarounds. Take the operational argument if the rules one does not move you: two posts a week is a routine, and a routine cannot sit on an account that may be suspended without warning.

AssistantOn the vendor's own supported list?Where that leaves a Hong Kong clinic
ChatGPT Plus, OpenAIHong Kong not listedNo supported subscription. The vendor warns that access from outside the list may see an account blocked or suspended
Claude Pro, AnthropicHong Kong not listedNo supported subscription
Google Gemini, with Google AI PlusHong Kong listedAvailable here, and Google lists Chinese (Traditional) and Chinese (Hong Kong) among the app's languages

That is the whole reason Gemini and not ChatGPT is the drafting tool below. It is not a claim that Gemini writes better Chinese. The three-word test further down is how you settle that for yourself, on your own captions.

The stack, priced in Hong Kong dollars

The clinic here is three people: one practitioner, one receptionist, one part-timer. One location, no marketing staff, two posts a week, and a Google Maps listing that has to be right, because that is where a new patient looks first.

Read that as a snapshot with a date on it. Every HKD figure is the Hong Kong App Store price on 5 September 2026, taken from Apple's Hong Kong storefront, which is what a card issued in Hong Kong is actually charged. Canva Pro's monthly in-app purchase was listed three times at three prices, HK$88, HK$90 and HK$120, so the table budgets the top of that range. Where a vendor publishes only a US dollar price we converted at HK$7.8 to US$1, the middle of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority's HK$7.75 to HK$7.85 convertibility band. Anything billed to your card in US dollars also carries your bank's foreign currency fee, which is not in the table.

Three notes on the paid lines, from the same 5 September 2026 reading:

  • Paying yearly is cheaper. Google AI Plus is HK$388 a year, about HK$32 a month. Canva Pro's annual purchases were listed at HK$818, HK$820 and HK$960. CapCut Pro is HK$488 a year.
  • You do not need the bigger Google tier. Google AI Pro is HK$158 a month. For two posts a week, AI Plus at HK$38 has been enough in our own use.
  • You probably do not need Canva Teams, at HK$170 a month. It is for several people editing the same brand assets. One Pro seat covers a clinic where one person makes the graphics.

Re-checking all of this takes about five minutes: open each app's page on a Hong Kong phone and read the In-App Purchases list. Do it before a renewal, not after one.

Set them up in this order

Work down the list. Each step has a way to tell whether it actually worked, which matters more than ticking it off.

  1. Claim the Google Business Profile tonight. Fill every field: opening hours, the WhatsApp number, the services you actually offer, photographs of the real room. It costs nothing, and a new patient sees it before your website. Worked when: you search the clinic's name on a phone that is not signed in to your account and see the hours, the number and the photos you just entered.
  2. Install Meta Business Suite and schedule two weeks in one sitting. Instagram and Facebook from one screen, so nobody has to remember on a Tuesday night. Worked when: the planner shows a queue of scheduled posts with dates on them, not a folder of drafts.
  3. Put one WhatsApp Business number on the website, the Google listing and the Instagram bio. Set a greeting message and three quick replies for the questions reception answers every day. Worked when: you message that number from your own phone and the greeting arrives.
  4. Build three Canva templates and reuse them: opening hours, a service explainer, a public holiday notice. Designing from scratch every week is the thing that makes people stop posting by week five. Worked when: a new notice takes under ten minutes.
  5. Draft in Gemini, then run the vocabulary check below before anything is published. Worked when: the check is a habit, not something you remember occasionally.

Test the Chinese before you pay: three words, five minutes

Two different questions hide inside "does it support Chinese", and mixing them up is what makes an imported tool list useless here.

Is the interface localised? Apple's Hong Kong listings answer this one. Canva, Google Gemini, CapCut and Meta 商務套件 each declare both Chinese variants in their App Store language list. Grammarly's listing declares exactly one language, English. Google separately lists Chinese (Traditional) and Chinese (Hong Kong) among the Gemini app's supported languages, and lists Hong Kong among the places the app is available.

Does what comes out read as Hong Kong Chinese? No App Store field answers that, and no vendor page will. Test it yourself before you pay:

  1. Ask the tool for one Instagram caption about a service you actually offer.
  2. Search the draft for three words: 視頻, 質量 and 信息. They are mainland vocabulary written in Traditional characters, so a Simplified-to-Traditional converter leaves them untouched and they read as correct to anyone who is not from Hong Kong. Here they should be 影片, 品質 and 資訊.
  3. Scan for Simplified characters that slipped through.
  4. Read the caption aloud to whoever answers your phone. If it sounds like a mainland brochure to them, it reads like one to a patient.

A tool that fails that repeatedly is an outlining tool, not a writing tool. These are the same checks we run on our own Chinese copy, and the next guide at the bottom of this page is the long version of them.

What we would not buy

ToolHK$ / monthWhy not, for this clinic
ChatGPT PlusNot on sale hereHong Kong is not on OpenAI's supported list
Claude ProNot on sale hereHong Kong is not on Anthropic's supported list
Grammarly233Its Hong Kong listing declares English as its only language, and it costs more than the whole paid stack above
Perplexity Pro148A research tool, not a publishing one
Meta Verified for business278Sold inside the WhatsApp Business app. It buys a badge and support access, not patients
Notion Plus with Notion AI188Three people do not have a documentation problem worth HK$188 a month
CapCut Standard or Pro58 or 118Start on the free tier and upgrade only when a specific export you need is behind the paywall

One local detail worth noticing on the Perplexity line: its own Hong Kong App Store listing is titled in Simplified Chinese, Perplexity - AI 搜索与聊天. A vendor that has not localised its own shop window is not the one to hand your captions to.

Why the usual "AI tools for clinics" list does not work here

Most of them are written for a reader in the United States, and three things follow.

They price in US dollars. Your card is charged either in Hong Kong dollars through the local App Store, or in US dollars through the vendor's site plus your bank's foreign currency fee. The two are rarely the same number.

They assume the tool is on sale where you live. The first section of this page is what happens when nobody checks.

They never check the Chinese. Grammarly sits third on most of those lists at HK$233 a month, which is more than every paid tool in our table put together, for a product whose Hong Kong listing declares English as its only language.

There is one more storefront wrinkle. The Hong Kong App Store bills in HKD, so the figures above are what a local card pays, with no conversion to argue about. Vendor websites quote US dollars, are sometimes cheaper, and add the fee. We could not load Canva's own pricing page from Hong Kong on 5 September 2026, so the table uses the storefront price a Hong Kong customer can see and check.

The advertising rules a clinic reads first

A clinic advertising in Hong Kong is not in the same position as a salon. The Undesirable Medical Advertisements Ordinance (Cap. 231) restricts advertisements likely to lead to the use of a medicine or treatment for the conditions listed in its schedules. The Department of Health's Drug Office states in its own FAQ that an advertisement under the Ordinance "covers advertisement published in the newspapers and magazines, leaflets, signboards, radios, televisions, internet as well as the labels on the container or package of a product". An Instagram caption is one of those media. Registered doctors are separately bound by the Medical Council of Hong Kong's Code of Professional Conduct, revised in October 2022 and published in full on the Council's site.

Two practical consequences for the stack above. Put whoever signs off your captions into the step before scheduling rather than after publication, because a scheduled post publishes itself. And read every draft line by line: a tool that writes a confident claim you never asked for is a tool that needs checking, not trusting.

We are a marketing company and not your lawyer, and none of this is legal advice. Both primary sources are linked below. Take proper advice on any caption that names a condition or a treatment.

Our own interest, stated plainly

WITTI Grow is our product. It is the HK$388 line in the table, the only item on this page we are paid for, and you should read the recommendation knowing that.

One thing to be clear about, since most of this page is about what Hong Kong cannot buy: our product reaches its models through a Google Cloud business account, which is a different arrangement from a consumer subscription. That is how the product happens to work. It is not a route to a ChatGPT Plus or Claude Pro subscription for you, and nothing here should be read as one.

The comparison without the sales pitch: the tools above do the whole job for HK$158 a month, or for nothing at all on the free tiers, provided somebody in the clinic spends roughly two hours a week planning, drafting, checking vocabulary and scheduling. What we sell at HK$388 a month is that job with the two hours taken out. If those two hours exist in your week, keep the HK$388 and run the free stack properly.

Before you spend anything, look at what your own pages say

A tool does not fix a website that never says which services you offer, where you are or when you are open. Paste the clinic's URL into our free marketing check: about three minutes, no sign-up, no credit card. Read what a new patient sees first, then decide which line of the table is worth paying for.

Next guide: Why does AI write 視頻 instead of 影片 in Traditional Chinese?

Common questions

Can a Hong Kong clinic subscribe to ChatGPT Plus or Claude Pro?
Not in a supported way. Hong Kong is not on OpenAI's list of supported countries and territories, and that page warns that access from outside the listed places may result in an account being blocked or suspended. Anthropic's list for Claude does not include Hong Kong either. Both were read on 5 September 2026 and are linked in the sources. We do not recommend workarounds, and we would not build a weekly publishing routine on an account that can be closed. Google lists Hong Kong among the places the Gemini app is available, which is why Gemini is the drafting tool in the stack above.
What is the cheapest way to do this properly?
HK$158 a month: Google AI Plus at HK$38, plus Canva Pro budgeted at the top of its HK$88 to HK$120 range, on top of four free tools. HK$0 also works: the free tiers of Gemini, Canva and CapCut, plus Meta Business Suite, the WhatsApp Business app and your Google Business Profile listing, all cost nothing. Paying yearly is cheaper again — Google AI Plus is HK$388 a year, about HK$32 a month. All figures are Hong Kong App Store prices on 5 September 2026, so re-check the listing before you commit.
Do these tools actually write Traditional Chinese for a Hong Kong reader?
Their interfaces are localised, and the App Store listings confirm that much: Canva, Google Gemini, CapCut and Meta 商務套件 all declare both Chinese variants, while Grammarly declares English only. Whether the writing reads as Hong Kong Chinese is a separate question no vendor page answers. Ask for one caption, then search the draft for `視頻`, `質量` and `信息` — mainland words in Traditional characters, where Hong Kong writes 影片, 品質 and 資訊 — and scan for Simplified characters that slipped through.
Can a Hong Kong clinic advertise on Instagram at all?
Clinics do advertise, and the limits come from the Undesirable Medical Advertisements Ordinance (Cap. 231) and, for registered doctors, the Medical Council of Hong Kong's Code of Professional Conduct. The Department of Health's Drug Office states that an advertisement under the Ordinance covers material published on the internet, so an Instagram caption counts. Both primary documents are in the sources below. Read them, and take proper advice on any caption that names a condition or a treatment. This is not legal advice.
Why is your own product on the list?
Because we sell it, and leaving it out would be worse. WITTI Grow Growth is HK$388 a month and it replaces roughly two hours a week of planning, drafting, vocabulary checking and scheduling. It is the only line on this page we are paid for. The free and cheap path is written out in full above; if those two hours exist in your week, use that instead and keep the HK$388.
